EGX’s indices see negative performance on Wednesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session lower, with the EGX30 main index down 0.63% to 28,287.98 points.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.57% to 6,278.65 points and by 0.59% to 9,095.52 points, respectively.

The trading value hit EGP 24.49 billion through the exchange of 1.04 billion shares. In addition, the market cap value stood at EGP 1.91 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 19.18 billion. Meanwhile, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 16.23 billion and EGP 2.94 billion, respectively.
