Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance, as the EGX30 main index fell by 0.75% to 17,538.97 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI rose by 1.99% to 3,038.95 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also closed the session higher by 0.24% at 2,977 points and by 0.87% at 4,524.54 points.
The turnover reached EGP 1.94 billion after 369.43 million shares were exchanged at the end of Tuesday’s session, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.11 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 33.07 million. On the other hand, the Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 32.80 million and the foreign traders with EGP 268,194.
