Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session with a varied note after the EGX30 main index retreated by 0.17% to 17,578.67 points.
On the other hand, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.11% to 3,218.62 points.
Both EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 1.61% at 3,500.48 points and by 1.08% at 5,185.97 points, respectively.
The turnover reached EGP 1.59 billion after 677.21 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.18 trillion.
Meanwhile, the EGX will halt trading activities tomorrow until 23 July 2023 on the occasion of the Islamic New Year and the July revolution. It will resume operations on Monday, 24 July.
