Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 main index increased by 2.18% to 17,665.29 points.
The EGX50 EWI also rose by 1.15% to 3,262.45 points.
Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also closed the session up by 1.21% to 3,535.71 points and by 1.31% to 5,242.31 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 1.85 billion through the exchange of 864.24 million shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.16 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 25.87 million and EGP 13.39 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 39.26 million.
