Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session with a mixed note after the EGX30 main index went down by 0.49% to 17,380.33 points.
The EGX50 EWI also dropped by 0.52% to 3,229.69 points.
On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 1.31% at 3,569.33 points and by 0.92% at 5,267.05 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover hit EGP 1.57 billion through the exchange of 712.31 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 1.14 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 67.94 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 46.45 million and EGP 21.49 million, respectively.
