EIC’s net profits leap to SAR 580m in 9M-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Electrical Industries Company (EIC) achieved net profits of SAR 579.99 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2026, an annual leap of 37.69% from SAR 421.22 million.

The revenues climbed by 25.18% to SAR 2 billion in 9M-26 from SAR 1.60 billion a year earlier. The company attributed the growth to increased demand across Saudi Arabian sectors, particularly in high-voltage stations, infrastructure, and oil and gas projects.

Earnings per share (EPS) went up to SAR 0.52 from SAR 0.38. Total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 1.32 billion as of 30 September 2026.

For the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 177.69 million, up 10.32% from SAR 161.07 million in Q3-25.

Quarterly performance was bolstered by a SAR 26.10 million refund from the General Authority for Competition following a favorable court ruling. However, net profit declined by 16.00% on a sequential basis from SAR 211.53 million in Q2-26.

The company noted that sequential results were impacted by geopolitical conditions, which led to project delays, higher shipping and insurance costs, and supply chain disruptions.
