Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City Company (EMPC) recorded consolidated net profits after tax valued at EGP 473.59 million in the first half (H1) of 2024, an annual leap of 77.83% from EGP 264.22 million.
Revenues hit EGP 506.79 million in H1-24, up 14.89% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 441.12 million, according to the interim financial statements.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) surged to EGP 2.23 at the end of June 2024 from EGP 1.25 in H1-23.
Standalone Results
The standalone net profit after tax of EMPC hit EGP 357.83 million during the first six months (6M) of 2024, higher by 78.65% YoY than EGP 200.29 million.
Non-consolidated revenues increased by 7.32% to EGP 398.09 million in H1-24 from EGP 370.95 million in H1-23, while the EPS grew to EGP 1.70 from EGP 0.95.
As of 31 March 2024, the consolidated net profits after tax reached EGP 372.64 million, while the standalone net profit jumped by 111.47% to EGP 275.86 million from EGP 130.45 million a year earlier.
