Cairo – Mubasher: East Delta Flour Mills plans to generate EGP 68.20 million in net profit after tax during fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, compared to its target of EGP 52.93 million for FY21/22.
The company is also targeting total investments worth EGP 58 million in FY22/23, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
During the July 2022–March 2023 period, East Delta Flour Mills achieved net profits of EGP 74.35 million, lower than EGP 78.21 million during the same period a year earlier.
Meanwhile, revenues went up to EGP 352.18 million in the nine-month (9M) period that ended on 31 March 2022 from EGP 351.17 million in 9M-21/22.
According to the audited financials that were disclosed last September, East Delta Flour Mills achieved net profits worth EGP 127.19 million in FY20/21, an annual growth of 4.90% from EGP 121.26 million.
