Cairo – Mubasher: Eastern Company’s board approved new prices for some cigarette products to take effect as of 14 April 2024.
The company set the new prices of local cigarette brands at EGP 34.50 per pack, according to a bourse filing.
Prices of Viceroy and Pall Mall brands were set at EGP 55 per pack.
Eastern Company posted a 17% year-on-year (YoY) drop in net profit after tax to EGP 2.89 billion during the first half (H1) of the fiscal year (FY) 2023/2024 from EGP 3.48 billion.
