Edaa announces deposit of iOud’s Sukuk securities

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Securities Depository Center Company, commonly referred to as Edaa, has confirmed the successful deposit of securities for the Intelligent Oud (iOud) Credit Enhanced Sukuk into the accounts of eligible holders.

This administrative milestone was finalized on 20 May 2026, marking the formal transition of the securities from the subscription phase to the custodial accounts of the investors.

The announcement by Edaa serves as a critical update for the Saudi capital market, as it signifies the completion of the technical registration process for the iOud Credit Enhanced Sukuk.

Meanwhile, the deposit of these specific Sukuk instruments ensures that all individual and institutional investors who participated in the subscription now have their holdings accurately reflected in their private investment portfolios.

By utilizing a credit-enhanced structure, the issuance is designed to offer specific financial characteristics tailored to the requirements of the issuer and the expectations of the subscribers. The formal addition of these securities into Edaa’s accounts is a mandatory regulatory step that confirms the legal ownership of the holders and prepares the instruments for any subsequent lifecycle events within the financial system.

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) also announced that the listing and trading of these Sukuk units will commence on 21 May 2026.
