Cairo – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Educatly, an Egypt-based edtech startup, aspires to provide various educational services to reach around seven million students in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Abdelrahman Ayman stated in an interview with Sharikat Mubasher.
He clarified that Educatly helped around 100,000 students in MENA to access educational programs from 45 countries worldwide.
Ayman added that the platform partnered with 500 universities and educational institutions in the region and plans to increase this number within the upcoming period.
The platform targets boosting the capabilities of education technology in the region and positioning Egyptian universities on the digital map of educational institutions worldwide, Ayman noted.
Educatly recently secured $2.5 million in a funding round led by TLcom Capital and Plus VC, with participation from Egypt Venture and the HBAN syndicate.
The Co-founder elaborated that Educatly and its partners work on reducing the financial burdens of the educational process on students and their families.
He further highlighted the platform's plans to solidify its virtual presence in prominent markets, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other African countries.
