The groundbreaking competition, aimed at fostering innovation in the real estate sector, launched on September 25th, organized by Cityscape Egypt in cooperation with PROPTEX’s mission, which aims to spotlight promising startups and provide them with a supportive ecosystem through an extensive acceleration program to gain recognition in the Proptech community.

Among 12 contesting startups, the top 3 startups were announced, with Reblox coming in the 1st place, MRKOON in the 2nd, and Kennah in the 3rd one.

On this occasion, Bedeir Rizk, CEO of Paragon Real Estate Development, Managing Partner at ABEC (Al-Bedeir Engineering and Construction), and Initiator of PROPTEX said: “I’m very delighted to see such a competition happening in Egypt for the first time after we’ve watched it being held in multiple states around the world. Egyptian companies enjoy great potential and are fully committed to pushing the innovation wheel of proptech in Egypt. We are proud to be supporting these startups for a year now through the Proptex Program, in addition to creating different partnerships and events to connect them with the sector’s biggest real estate developers.”

Worth mentioning that the winning startups were selected upon rigorous evaluation criteria, with a group of Egypt’s real estate experts as jury members including Abdallah Sallam, President & CEO of Madinet Masr, Zeina Mandour, Venture Investments Manager at Dar Ventures, and Dina el-Shenoufy, chief investment officer at Flat6Labs.
