Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is qualified to organise the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, board member of the Egyptian football association (EFA) said.
The North African nation has submitted a bid to host the 2019 African Nations Cup, competing South Africa, Ahmed Megahed added.
One of the two countries is set to host the tournament next June.
Last week, the Egyptian youth and sports minister said that Egypt was considering bidding for hosting the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
This comes following Morocco’ decision of not to run for the Africa Cup, Ashraf Sobhi indicated.
