Egypt's ministers to take 20% salary cut for 3 months

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet decided to reduce wages of ministers by 20% for three months.

The discounted amount will be directed to Tahya Misr Fund to back the initiative of supporting irregular labourers amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, prime minister Mosataf Mabdouly said during a conference on Wednesday.

 It is noteworthy that the total number of COVID-19 cases in Egypt reached 1,450.
