Egypt’s stock market closes Monday in green zone

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session higher after the EGX30 main index rose by 0.37% to 18,584.84 points.

Both the EGX70 EWI and the EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 0.36% at 3,754.48 points and by 0.22% at 5,517.56 points, respectively.

The turnover amounted to EGP 2.64 billion through the exchange of 720.83 million shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.26 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 58.97 million and EGP 6.28 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 65.26 million.
