Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session in the red zone after the EGX30 main index fell by 0.96% to 23,994.54 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI ended the session lower by 0.07% at 5,344.07 points and by 0.34% at 7,665.01 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 3.29 billion through the exchange of 1.34 billion shares, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.65 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 31.82 million. The foreign and Arab traders were net buyers with EGP 19.87 million and EGP 11.95 million, respectively.
