Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Tuesday’s trading session with a mixed performance after the EGX30 main index rose by 0.92% to 17,866.81 points.
The EGX50 EWI increased by 0.53% to 3,286.80 points.
On the other hand, both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session lower by 1.31% at 3,531.80 points and by 0.63% at 5,244.51 points, respectively.
A total of 1.09 billion shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 3.84 billion, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.16 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 84.76 million and EGP 21.14 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 105.90 million.
