Egypt’s stock market ends Thursday’s session in green

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s trading session with a collective rise after the EGX30 main index went up by 1% to 17,521.36 points.

The EGX50 EWI also increased by 0.48% to 3,208.04 points.

Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI closed the session higher by 0.12% at 3,652.50 points and by 0.30% at 5,333.34 points, respectively.

A total of 983.14 shares were exchanged at a value of EGP 2.37 billion, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 1.13 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 89.04 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 61.90 million and EGP 27.13 million, respectively.
