Egypt’s stock market ends Wednesday’s session mixed

Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session with a varied note after the EGX30 main index edged down by 0.36% to 17,452.22 points.

On the other hand, the EGX50 EWI increased by 0.81% to 3,087.53 points.

Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also ended the session higher by 0.72% at 3,013.56 points and by 0.64% at 4,578.64 points.

The turnover reached EGP 2.02 billion through the exchange of 445.90 million shares, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.12 trillion.

As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 282.44 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 274.32 million and EGP 8.12 million, respectively.
