Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a varied note after the EGX30 main index declined by 0.37% to 17,921.92 points.
The EGX50 EWI also went down by 0.21% to 3,292.43 points.
On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 2.05% at 3,627.73 points and by 1.47% at 5,351.80 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 2.07 billion through the exchange of 991.68 million shares, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.17 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the foreign and Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 74.58 million and EGP 3.33 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 77.92 million.
