Egyptian Exchange’s indices see varied performance on Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) declined by 0.44%, closing Tuesday at 27,828.92 points.

On the other hand, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 0.84% to 6,331.29 points.

The EGX100 EWI increased by 0.67% to 9,121.02 points and the Shariah index shrank by 0.76% to 2,681.26 points.

The turnover amounted to EGP 3.25 billion through the exchange of 752.90 million shares. In addition, the market cap value of the EGX exceeded EGP 1.89 trillion at the end of the session.

As for trading on securities, the Arab and foreign investors were the net sellers with EGP 66.49 million and EGP 63.13 million, respectively.

On the other hand, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 129.62 million.
