Egyptian-Saudi Business Council looks to activate joint ventures agreements

Contacts and negotiations have been resumed to activate a number of joint projects agreements, some in the Suez Canal area, which were signed on the sidelines of Saudi King Abdullah’s  visit to Egypt in April last year, according to Faisal Islamic Bank Governor and Egyptian side head at the Egyptian-Saudi Business Council, Abdul Hamid Abu Musa.

Abu Musa said in exclusive statements to Al-Mal newspaper that the contacts began 3 weeks ago, in conjunction with an invitation by Saudi King Salman to President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi to visit the Kingdom, during a meeting between them on the sidelines of the Arab summit held in Jordan in late March.

He stressed that the Egyptian president's visit to the Kingdom yesterday would give a push to relations between the two states, both politically and in the field of joint ventures.
