Cairo - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Taskeeper, a Lisbon-based company specializing in digitizing the real estate and construction industry, provides various offerings to help real estate companies accelerate project delivery.
In an interview with Sharikat Mubasher, held on the sidelines of the Egypt PropTech Challenge 2024, CTO Ahmed ElKordy showcased Taskeeper’s key services provided for construction and real estate companies in Egypt.
ElKordy clarified that large and medium-sized companies face difficulties in paying millions of dollars for tech giants such as SAP and Oracle to avail their software applications.
To tackle this challenge, Taskeeper focused on providing seamless and accurate software services at affordable prices that suit the company's budget.
Taskeeper, which started operations in Egypt in 2021, is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) application that empowers real estate developers and contractors who are involved in the delivery and management of real estate products. It enables customers to track the project's progress from the launch till the delivery.
ElKordy noted that around 80% of companies that adopt traditional methods in delivering projects often face delays compared to those relying on leading-edge technologies.
The Egypt PropTech Challenge 2024 was launched by PropTex, the first property technology (proptech) acceleration program in the MENA region, in partnership with Cityscape Egypt, the largest real estate exhibition.
The 13th edition of Cityscape Egypt took place from 25 to 28 September with the participation of over 80 developers and more than 40,000 attendees.
