Electro Cable Egypt sees lower profits in 2025; revenues exceed EGP 10.8bn

Cairo - Mubasher: Electro Cable Egypt Company logged higher consolidated net profits after tax at EGP 500.31 million in 2025, an annual drop from EGP 1.32 billion.

The earnings per share (EPS) declined to EGP 0.15 last year from EGP 0.40 in 2024, according to the financial results.

Net sales amounted to EGP 10.81 billion at the end of December 2025, versus EGP 13.77 billion a year earlier.

Electro Cable Egypt recorded total assets amounting to EGP 16.46 billion in 2025, higher than EGP 14.97 billion in the January-December 2024 period.

Standalone Business

In the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2025, the EGX-listed firm posted lower net profits at EGP 104.40 million, compared to EGP 435.65 million a year earlier.

Non-consolidated revenues shrank to EGP 4.70 billion from EGP 7.69 billion, while the EPS retreated to EGP 0.02 from EGP 0.10.

At the end of September 2025, Electro Cable Egypt generated consolidated net profits worth EGP 526.50 million, down YoY from EGP 1.30 billion.
