Elm sees 19.5% higher profits in H1-24; dividends announced

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits of Elm Company jumped by 19.56% to SAR 831 million in the first half (H1) of 2024 from SAR 695 million, according to the consolidated financial results.

The company posted revenues amounting to SAR 3.40 billion in H1-24, higher by 26.52% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 2.69 billion.

Earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 10.70 as of 30 June 2024 from SAR 8.95 in the year-ago period.

Financial Results for Q2-24

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2024, the net profits stood at SAR 486 million, up 30.29% from SAR 373 million a year earlier.

Revenues widened by 25.85% to SAR 1.76 billion in Q2-24 from SAR 1.40 billion in Q2-23.

Quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), the profits in Q2-24 hiked by 40.86% from SAR 345 million in Q1-24, while the revenues rose by 7.80% from SAR 1.63 billion.

Dividends for H1-24

The board of Elm approved cash dividends valued at SAR 271.94 million, equivalent to 35% of the company’s capital, for H1-24.

In this regard, the listed firm will pay a dividend of SAR 3.50 per share for 77.69 million eligible shares.

Eligibility and disbursement dates for the dividends will be 7 and 20 August 2024, respectively.
