Emaar Economic City pens SAR 152m infrastructure contract for automotive logistics hub

Riyadh – Mubasher: Emaar The Economic City signed an infrastructure development contract valued at SAR 152 million with Automotive Solutions Company for Logistics Services (Masarat Mobility Park).

The agreement, signed on 13 September 2026, covers the design, construction, and delivery of additional utility infrastructure required for Masarat’s project within the King Salman Automotive Manufacturing Hub.

The contract follows a previous industrial land sale agreement worth SAR 366.77 million originally announced on 2 July 2023.

The land was sold to a consortium including Tasaru Mobility Investments, Dar Al Himmah Projects, Zamil Real Estate Group, and Abdullah Ibrahim Alkhorayef Sons. These entities subsequently formed Masarat Mobility Park to develop a secondary infrastructure and industrial logistics cluster.

The new contract addresses a request from Masarat for utility capacities exceeding the original scope of the 2023 land sale.

Emaar Economic City expects the financial impact of this agreement to be reflected in its financial results starting from the third quarter (Q3) of 2026.

Masarat is a joint venture involving Tasaru Mobility Investments, which is fully owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), a major shareholder in Emaar Economic City.
