Mubasher: Ezdan Holding Group posted an 83.9% year-on-year drop in profits for the third quarter of 2018.
Net profits amounted to QAR 41.17 million in Q3-18, compared to QAR 256.06 million in Q3-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) late on Monday.
For the first nine months of 2018, profits of the insurance company fell 67.1% to QAR 463.47 million, from QAR 1,141.06 million in the same period of the prior year.
Earnings per share (EPS) recorded QAR 0.17 for the nine-month period ended September, versus QAR 0.53 for the same period in the year before.
During the first half of 2018, the group’s profits declined 63.4% year-on-year to QAR 422.31 million.
