Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Fawaz Abdulaziz Al Hokair Company (Cenomi Retail) approved the appointment of Salim Fakhouri as the company’s CEO, which became effective on 14 August 2024.
Fakhouri served as the Acting CEO of Cenomi Retail since March 2024, driving the company’s strategic vision and growth, according to a press release.
With more than 20 years of experience spanning the MENA region, the new CEO has expertise in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and fashion retail.
He previously held the position of President of the Fashion Division at Azadea Group as well as Regional Markets Director for Egypt.
Salim’s leadership oversaw nearly 50 international brands across the GCC and MENA regions, reflecting his ability to bolster growth and innovation.
Fawaz bin Abdulaziz Alhokair, Chairman of Cenomi Retail, commented: “Salim Fakhouri’s appointment as CEO marks a pivotal moment for Cenomi Retail.”

He indicated: “Salim holds a Global Executive Master of Business Administration (GEMBA) from I.E. Business School in Madrid, Spain, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an accounting and audit degree from the National Education and Fine Arts College in Lebanon.”
In the first half (H1) of 2024, Cenomi Retail shifted to net losses worth SAR 67.60 million, compared to net profits valued at SAR 113.80 million as of 30 June 2023.
