Fintech Saudi, D360 bank to develop Saudi fintech sector

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Fintech Saudi, the leading financial services provider, inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with D360 Bank to enhance and develop the Saudi financial technology sector, the company announced in a press release.

The agreement aims to improve and facilitate banking services, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to enable financial technology and develop digital economy.

The MoU was signed by Mohammed Ghonaim, the Acting CEO of D360 Bank, and Nizar Al-Haider, the General Manager of Fintech Saudi, on the sidelines of Seamless Saudi Arabia 2023 event.

Ghonaim stated that the partnership highlights the D360 Bank’s efforts to develop cutting-edge financial technologies in the Kingdom.

He elaborated that both parties will exchange expertise and knowledge to offer new products and services that fulfill the customers’ needs, establish a framework for investment, and support emerging financial technology companies.

Furthermore, Al-Haider stated that the partnership with D360 Bank will contribute in supporting the development and adoption of financial technology, in addition to accelerating economic growth.

D360 Bank is a licensed shariah-compliant digital bank supervised by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA). It offers a bouquet of best financial services that suit and enable various categories, including the SMEs, to access their financial seeds seamlessly.

It worth mentioning that Fintech Saudi also signed an MoU with Mastercard, during Seamless Saudi Arabia 2023, to accelerate the digital transformation of Saudi fintech industry.
