Riyadh – Mubasher: Head of Marketing at Nine Tenths Program, Abdulaziz Al Khariji, told Mubasher that Forsah electronic platform has offered SAR 5 billion in total to benefit more than 30,000 small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) until the present time.
Forsah is part of the several services provided under the Nine Tenths Program, which was launched by the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) and operates under the umbrella of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
The e-platform connects suppliers with buyers to allow SMEs view prices and submit bids electronically for purchases in both the public and private sectors.
Besides Forsah, the Nine Tenths Program has Zadd, Bahr, and Tojjar services, Al Khariji noted in an interview on the sidelines of the Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024 event, which kicked off in Riyadh on 22 October and will last for three days, during which Mubasher is taking part as the Media Partner.
The official elaborated that Tojjar platform aims to enable productive families and entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, while Bahr enables freelancers to connect with entrepreneurs to be part of their projects, and Zadd offers information, reports, and statistics to help business owners.
Nine Tenths Program, which was launched in 2016, has future expansion plans to attract more companies to Forsah e-platform, which will help to grow the local economy of the Kingdom, according to Al Khariji.
