Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profit after Zakat and tax of National Gas and Industrialization Company (GASCO) reached SAR 159.40 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, up 1.27% from SAR 157.40 million in 9M-21.
Revenues increased by 5.48% to SAR 1.50 billion during January-September 2022, versus SAR 1.42 billion in the year-ago period, according to the initial financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) inched up to SAR 2.13 in 9M-22 from SAR 2.10 in 9M-21.
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, GASCO generated SAR 57 million net profit after Zakat and tax, an annual hike of 56.16% from SAR 36.50 million.
Furthermore, the revenues surged by 15.24% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 512.60 million in the July-September 2022 period, compared to SAR 444.80 million.
On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits after Zakat and tax widened by 79.25% from SAR 31.80 million in Q2-22, while the revenues jumped by 8.49% from SAR 472.50 million.
In the first half (H1) of 2022, the Tadawul-listed firm achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 104.70 million, lower by 13.97% YoY than SAR 121.70 million.
