Cairo – Mubasher: Genial Tours' net profit for the first half of 2016 slipped 41.5% year-on-year to EGP 281,700 ($31,600) from EGP 481,300 ($54,000), according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
The first six-month revenues stood at EGP 2.28 million, lower 16% from EGP 2.73 million for the year-ago period.
In the first quarter, the company earned EGP 190,000 compared to EGP 1465,000 for Q1-15.
The stock quote remained unchanged at EGP 3.18 on Monday with 7,600 shares changing hands at EGP 24,300.
