Riyadh — Mubasher: Ghida Al Sultan for Fast Food Company announced it was unable to publish its preliminary financial results for the first half (H1) of 2026, within the regulatory deadline.
The delay is attributed to the external auditor's requirement for additional technical studies and reports to determine the appropriate accounting treatment for a new investment, Brand Developers Company, established by the group during the period.
The Saudi firm stated that these requirements necessitate the appointment of specialized external parties, including an IFRS accounting consultant and an independent valuer.
Meanwhile, Ghida Al Sultan is currently working with the auditor to complete these technical requirements.
Trading of the company’s shares is scheduled for suspension on 2 September in accordance with listing rules.
Ghida Al Sultan expects to finalize and publish the financial statements within a period not exceeding twenty trading sessions following the suspension.
The company noted that it will provide monthly updates on the progress of the results publication and emphasized that this is the first instance in which it has missed a regulatory filing deadline.
