Doha – Mubasher: Gulf International Services’ (GIS) net profit ballooned 116% year-on-year in the first six months of 2018, recording QAR 34.24 million.
The company’s revenue also hiked to QAR 1.31 billion, up 4% form the comparative period of 2017, according to a company statement released on Sunday.
Operating profit stood at QAR 126.66 million from January to the end of June.
Basic and diluted earnings per share reached QAR 0.18 in the same period, the Qatar Stock Exchange-listed firm revealed.
In April, GIS recorded a 37.3% year-on-year drop in its profits for the first quarter of 2018, registering QAR 9.46 million.
