Cairo – Mubasher: Ibnsina Pharma reported a 46.6% year-on-year profit growth during the first quarter of 2019.
The pharmaceutical firm’s net profits amounted to EGP 40.99 million in Q1-19, compared to EGP 27.95 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Sales rose to EGP 3.8 billion in the January-March period of 2019, against EGP 2.95 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier.
For the full-year 2018, Ibnsina Pharma logged a profit of EGP 262.52 million, compared to EGP 170.13 million in the prior year.
Revenues surged to EGP 13.6 billion last year from EGP 9.8 billion in 2017.
