Cairo – Mubasher: Juhayna Food Industries’ consolidated net profits amounted to EGP 474.08 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, a drop from EGP 490.19 million in the prior-year period.
Earnings per share (EPS) stood at EGP 0.50 during the nine-month period ended 30 September 2022, compared to EGP 0.52 in the corresponding period in the previous year, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.
The company's revenues soared to EGP 8.16 billion in the January-September period of 2022, compared to EGP 6.52 billion in the same period of 2021.
As for the standalone businesses, the company turned to net profits worth EGP 81.15 million in 9M-22, against net losses of EGP 3.07 million in the year-ago period.
During this year’s third quarter (Q3), the EGX-listed firm reported lower net profits of EGP 155.13 million in 9M-22, compared to EGP 173.52 million in 9M-21.
During the first half (H1) of 2022, Juhayna’s net profits levelled up by 1% year-on-year (YoY) to EGP 318.94 million, compared to EGP 316.21 million in the corresponding period in 2021, including minority shareholders’ rights.
