Mubasher: Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction and Contracting (KCPC) recorded a leap of 541.7% in profits during the second quarter of 2018 compared to the same period in the prior year.
Earnings increased to KWD 1.36 million ($4.5 million) in Q2-18 from about KWD 211,950 ($699,800) in Q2-17, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
From January to June 2018, KCPC achieved a surge of 433% in profits to KWD 2.7 million compared to about KWD 506,630 in the same half of 2017.
KCPC clarified that the increase in H1 earnings is attributed to a growth in operating income.
