Mubasher: Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) has designated Al Zour Medical Clinic (KIPIC Medical Centre) as a comprehensive quarantine facility with a capacity of 1,700 beds, state-run Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Sunday.
The company has utilised all of its resources and efforts to support government bodies to fight the coronavirus outbreak, KIPIC’s acting CEO, Hatem Al Awadi, said.
KIPIC initiated with establishing and preparing quarantine sites to host all students who will return home over the coming few days.
The field hospitals include an internal clinic, a laboratory, a chemist's, an intensive care room for emergency cases, as well as a helipad, a separate residency for male and female doctors and nurses, and well-equipped hotel rooms for guests.
Moreover, the new site is equipped with around the clock internet and security services.
Al Awadi further stressed that the company is working on full swings to complete its huge investments that include Al Zour Refinery Project and the Liquefied Natural Gas Import Facility (LNGI).
