Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange’s (KSE) benchmark index fell 0.31% or 16.70 points to reach 5,378.79 points by 9:35am Kuwait time on Monday.
Similarly, the weighted index levelled down 0.03%, while Kuwait-15 went up 0.07%.
The market’s turnover reached about KWD 805,800 after 6.2 million shares were traded through 316 transactions.
The real estate sector led eight decliners by 0.52%, dragged by Awj which lost 7.35% to be the top loser.
Meanwhile, the technology and insurance sectors were the only gainers by a rise of 0.66% and 0.28% respectively.
Future was the top winner by a growth of 5.6% to reach 92 fils, after 100,000 shares were traded at a value of around KWD 9,200.
Danah was the most active stock on which 1.2 million shares were exchanged, while NBK recorded the highest liquidity that reached around KWD 175,000.
