Riyadh – Mubasher: Keir International Company inked a SAR 29.89 million agreement with the Ministry of Interior to connect the latter’s 49 sites in Riyadh and Makkah with a fiber optic network.
The Saudi firm will supply and install internal network devices (ISP), in addition to providing and operating cyber security systems for the network, according to a bourse filing.
The deal also covers the implementation of the external network OSP and training on network systems.
It is worth noting that the awarding of the contract took place on 5 November 2022, whereas the signing date is expected to be on 19 February 2023.
This month, the Tadawul-listed firm named Mohammed bin Ali Al Dhalaan and Mamdouh bin Farouq Ghazzawi as the board’s new Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, for the coming three years.
Last August, the company sealed a number of deals with the Saudi government at a combined value of SAR 16.08 million, including a SAR 8.75 million agreement with the Ministry of Interior.
