Knowledge Economic City’s shareholders nod for remuneration policy amendments

Riyadh – Mubasher: Knowledge Economic City announced the results of its ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on 30 June 2026, where shareholders representing 41.68% of the company’s capital approved the financial statements for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2025.

During the meeting, which was conducted virtually from the company's headquarters in Madinah, shareholders reviewed and discussed the board of directors' report and the auditor's report for 2025.

The assembly also voted to discharge the members of the board of directors from liability for the same period.

A key resolution included the approval of amendments to the remuneration policy for board members and executives. This update specifically modifies the remuneration schedule for board and committee members previously approved by the general assembly on 7 May 2017. The company stated that these amendments are effective starting from the 2025 fiscal year.

The meeting was chaired by Amin bin Mohammed Shaker and attended by several board members and committee heads. Three board members were unable to attend the session, which reached the required legal quorum.

The company recently finalized a Sharia-compliant financing agreement worth SAR 150 million with Riyad Bank.
