Mubasher: Kuwait Cement’s shareholders approved the board’s proposal to distribute 15 fils per share as cash dividends for the full fiscal year 2018 during a general assembly meeting held on Tuesday, 23 April.
Distributions represent 15% of the company’s capital, according to a statement to Boursa Kuwait.
Kuwait Cement’s profits amounted to KWD 7.9 million in 2018, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported, cited the chairman Rashed Al Rashed as saying.
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted 11.14 fils.
The total value of assets reached KWD 301 million, while reserves hit KWD 108 million a year ago.
The shareholders also approved to authorise the board to purchase or sell up to 10% of its shares.
