Mubasher: All Kuwaiti nationals who have arrived from Iran on Saturday, 22 February, are “free from the new coronavirus (COVID-19) or any other communicable diseases”, Kuwait’s health minister Dr. Basel Al Sabah said.
In a response to growing concerns over the new virus outbreak, Kuwait has planned for evacuating a total of 750 citizens from Iran, with the first batch of five carrying 130 Kuwaiti passengers.
The Kuwaiti citizens in Iran are mainly based in Tehran and Mashhad.
The health ministry further denied all rumours circulated on social media channels on alleged Coronavirus infections in Kuwait.
