Kuwait – Mubasher: The crude oil exports from Kuwait to Japan decreased by 25.2% in June 2016 from a year earlier to total 5.04 million barrels, or 168,000 barrels per day (bpd), down for the second successive month, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said according to official data.
Kuwait, which is Japan's fifth-biggest oil provider, has supplied 5.4% of the Asia's total crude imports, the Japanese Natural Resources and Energy Agency said in a preliminary report.
Japan's overall imports of crude oil were up 6.7% year-on-year to 3.13 million bpd in June, expanding for the third month in a row, KUNA added.
