Kuwait – Mubasher: The main index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) went up 0.08% or 4.2 points to reach 5,384.98 points by 9:15am Kuwait time on Tuesday.
Also, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices gained 0.06% and 0.03% respectively.
Turnover stood at KWD 371,000 after 6.42 million shares were exchanged through 220 transactions.
The telecom sector topped five gainers by 1% on the back of Hits and Viva.
The consumer goods headed four decliners by 0.4%, dragged by Danah which lost 3.45% to be the top loser.
Gulf North Africa was the top winner by a 4.62% growth to 34 fils after 202,000 shares were traded at a value of about KWD 6,700.
Al Salam was the most active stock on which 1.67 million shares were exchanged at a value of around KWD 85,100. The stock reached 51 fils.
