Kuwaiti bourse’s price index opens in red

Kuwait-Mubasher: The price index of Kuwait started Monday’s trading session with a decline of 0.24% or 13.9 points to settle at 5,778.04 points.

By 9:30 a.m. Kuwait time, the weighted index retreated by 0.07% or 0.27 points to reach 392.53 points.

Meanwhile, the Kuwait-15 index rose by 0.02% or 0.15 points to 933.35 points.

Trading value stood at KWD 1.1 million, after 16.7 million shares were traded through 400 transactions.

Specialities Group Holding topped the winners by a rise of 6%, while Gulf Franchising Holding led the losers after dropping 7.1%.

GFH was the most active stock as 6.62 million shares were traded through 58 deals, with a value of about KWD 244,110. The stock fell by 3.95%.
