Mubasher: Mannai Corporation on Sunday reported a slight year-on-year decline in profits in the period between April and June 2018, while its first half results were nearly stable.
The Qatar-based company achieved QAR 76.38 ($20.8 million) in profit in the second quarter of 2018, down 1.05% from QAR 76.38 million ($21 million) in the year-ago period.
As for the first half of the year, Mannai’s profits were nearly stable at QAR 166.98 million from QAR 166.48 million in the same period of 2017, according to a filing to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 3.66 in H1-18 versus QAR 3.65 in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Mannai previously posted a 1.4% year-on-year increase in profits to QAR 91.4 million in the first three months of 2018, compared to QAR 90.1 million.
