Mastercard expands partnership with Women Choice

Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Mastercard, the global technology company, expanded its partnership with Women Choice to launch two new programs, ImpactHer and EmpowerHer, to foster women entrepreneurs, a recent statement revealed.

The two programs aim to support women entrepreneurs grow their businesses and create jobs across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region by offering complete support via training and mentorship.

The programs will further help women entrepreneurs create employment opportunities for other women in their chosen fields.

This cooperation reinforces the commitment of both entities to empowering female-led businesses with resources and growth opportunities, as part of a greater goal of providing one million employment opportunities for women by 2030.

Amnah Ajmal, Executive Vice President of Market Development for EEMEA at Mastercard, said: “Our expanded partnership with Women Choice will not only have a significant impact on women in the workplace across the region, but also provide women entrepreneurs with the right skills, resources, and tools to succeed and drive economic growth in the region.”

For her part, Nezha Alaoui, Founder and CEO of Women Choice, stated that the organization is focusing on changing and improving the situation of women in the workplace.

“Providing support to women-led businesses is a key element to help economies in the Middle East and Africa region grow and further thrive,” Alaoui added.
