Mubasher: Medicare Group posted a 104.9% year-on-year hike in profits for the third quarter of 2018.
Net profits amounted to QAR 7.5 million in Q3-18, compared to QAR 3.66 million in Q3-17, according to the company’s statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) late on Tuesday.
Earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QAR 1.45 for the three-month period ended September, from QAR 1.29 for the same period of the prior year.
As for the first nine months of 2018, the Qatari group’s net profits reached QAR 40.75 million, against QAR 36.25 million in the same period a year earlier.
It is worth noting that the company’s profits increased 2% to QAR 33.25 million by the end of the first half of 2018, from QAR 32.59 million during H1-17.
By the end of Tuesday’s session, Medicare Group’s stock inched down 0.36% at QAR 64.
