Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Company (Mopco) registered an annual leap in net profit after tax to EGP 11.55 billion during the first nine months (9M) of 2024, compared to EGP 5.15 billion.
Mopco generated revenues valued at EGP 13.08 billion as of 30 September 2024, up year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 4.20 billion, according to the financial results.
Earnings per share (EPS) grew to EGP 5.56 in 9M-24 from EGP 2.48 in 9M-23.
Financial Results for Q3-24
In the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, the net profits hit EGP 1.35 billion, higher YoY than EGP 374.30 million.
Revenues increased to EGP 3.15 billion in Q3-24 from EGP 1.08 billion during the same period in 2023, while the EPS climbed to EGP 0.65 from EGP 0.18.
As of 31 March 2024, the net profits of Mopco hiked by 95% to EGP 7.64 billion from EGP 3.92 billion a year earlier.
